Help us Build 2 More Water Wells in Western Kenya

*** MATCHING DONOR UP TO $1000*** We reunited with Julius who helped us build wells for the impoverished way back in 2013. We lost touch but by the Grace of God, we recently reunited and he has offered to dig wells for us labour free ($460 for materials). I am however giving him $40 for 10 days of diligent labour and we are providing him help too putting a brother or two to work for a short period of time ($50 for other labourers per well).

Psalm 128:2 “For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.”

The total we are praying for that will serve hundreds is $1,100. Brother Haron, our Western Kenya overseer, explains just how much of a blessing these wells will be:

“We are praying for two wells to be dug in Mlimani area and one in Kaptien. Each will serve 500+ poor and needy families . The very few and seasonal wells that exist are 5 to 10 kilometres apart. Women lose productive time and kids are missing out on school, all because of the time spent collecting water; with journeys so long there is no choice but to walk sometimes in the hours of darkness, for hours each day, putting women and children at great risk . The access to water means that children will be able to attend school more consistently, parents will have more time to work and caring for little ones and the whole village will benefit from better health. Please, help us dig these wells.”
