Cowpeas and Sweet Potatoes WFF GMFC Fellowship Mois Bridge Kenya Jesus Christian Farming

Sowing and Reaping in Moi’s Bridge Kenya

God has given us a lot of cowpea vegetables this year; more than enough for us, the widows in church and the needy. We also planted sweet potatoes. The Vines will benefit our goats in the dry months and we will harvest the potatoes for the widows and the orphans. We also planted blackjack for goats. It’s normally considered a weed on farms but it’s great goat fodder. I prepared seeds locally by picking by hand the black seeds from the plant, then, I dried them and planted them half a centimeter deep the ground. I am doing this for the first time and already seeing good results. All glory to God.
