Helping Elderly Grandmothers in Moi’s Bridge Kenya

With blessed support from GMFC, we have been able to provide a supply of rice and beans to some of the most vulnerable homes where orphans are under our care stay in Moisbridge Mlimani village. Many of the guardians are elderly grandmothers and these women are generally the ones who bear the responsibility when a child’s parents have gone. We visit each home to check on the challenges they face in their day to day lives. The home visits are normally humbling and we learn a lot about what it means to struggle daily for water, food, shelter, and health. We make sure we cover their school fees so they don’t miss classes and the sick are taken care of too but resources are scarce. But, we are so very excited to start the GMFC medical program later this week as the medicine will arrive. God bless you all for your prayers and support. -Bro Haron Wanjala (Overseer)
