KENYAN WIDOWS BENEFIT FROM THE FAITHFUL
At Moisbridge mission field, GMFC is by God’s grace is currently supporting 17 Widows. We are spending ksh 1500 ($15 USD) on each monthly. We came up with an idea on how to support them more effectively. We agreed that each one of them to surrender 500 ($5 USD) from what we give monthly so that the collected money can help cater to a bigger and most urgent need that one of them may have. This will rotate until each one of them benefits from this program, then we will extend it to other needy widows as God’s grace will allow. This because what we are currently giving them is mainly spent on food and medication.
Some of their needs is fixing up their huts, paying school fees, caring for the orphans, medical bills among other needs. We have started with two widows this month by buying one widow a sheep and a calf to the other. We really appreciate your efforts to ensure Jesus is glorified by serving these poor and needy human beings. We are only achieving this because of the support the donors to GMFC is giving us. God bless you and know that we are praying for you dear brethren.
We have 17 identified widows in the Moisbridge GMFC mission field who are getting on their feet with a bit of help from our GMFC sponsorship. With the help and oversight of the church elders, we are praying to buy each widow a goat, sheep or calf. These are life changing blessings to the impoverished. And more importantly, this effort opens doors for the Gospel and we have seen, not only widows, but many in the community developing interest in accepting Jesus . When a widow receives one of these animals, they’re blessed with the income because they sell the offspring and will be able to support not only themselves but they will also support other poor and needy people as they are Christ-like souls. Smaller animals reproduce quickly, and their offspring can be sold. On small farms, goats, sheep and chicken are often the key to a family’s survival. We are praying God to bless this program as well as the medical program we are just launching. God bless you all. Haron Wanjala
