Clean H20 & Living Water at the New Ahero Kenya Fellowship

Hello brethren, I start by thanking God for you for your prayers for the ability to go on the Ahero outreach mission. My journey started on Tuesday morning from Moisbridge through Kitale, Webuye, Kakamega, Kisumu then on to Ahero. We then went deep into a remote village called OK 15kms from Ahero. As most of us in Kenya know, it’s rainy season in this western region. Ahero is never safe whenever the rains come in and as usual, the heavy rain has really affected the Ahero region at large. Most of the homes are submerged in the water so people have moved to higher places for safety. It’s hard enough to live in great poverty, now even harder being displaced.

Our Christian brethren are also not spared. Brothers David, Joseph and Peter have moved in with their families at market place called Mbita, some kilometers away from their village. It’s here that we had our three days of wonderful, Spirit filled fellowship. We met at night for fellowship as the brothers are out during the day working for their families daily needs. Apart from blessing them with food stuff, we also blessed them with three good King James Bibles, 3 t/shirts, two for brothers Peter and David and one for sister Roselydia, and, two wonderful books written by brother Aaron. All these donated by our sponsors at GMFC /Working Faith Fellowship. We also fixed a sawyer water filter that will not only serve the brethren, but the entire village. We are ecited to share with you the pictures and videos below of these great blessings. Once more, thanks so much brethren for your prayers and thanks so much to our sponsors for making all this possible. Much greetings too from Ahero fellowship. All the glory to Jesus. -Brother Haron

Bellow is few updates from our Ahero / Mbita outreach mission. Singing in our fellowship are brothers Peter & Joseph, sisters Roselydia & Winny and Mary and I. Brother David and his wife had not arrived.
Me and brother Peter under the bridge that connects Mbita main town and Rusinga highlands. Here the residents from both sides draw their water from lake victoria. Plenty of water but not safe for human consumption. Residents here use so many ways of purification to clean and treat their water for consumption but most all are very inadequate and so many get sick. Thanks to God for our sponsors through GMFC for donating the Sawyer water filter. Many now have a reason to give thanks to God for clean water. This sawyer water filter will save them a lot of money they have been spending on other unhygienic ways.
Brother Peter and a neighbor test the sawyer water filter that we have just fixed up for them. Glory to God, clean water is here for the Mbita people. A huge blessing for so many.
